The Tippmann 98 Custom... it's the same basic paintball gun as the Model 98, but has improved upon the one weakness of the Model 98: upgradeability. It retains the workhorse reliability and all the great features of the Model 98 with the ability to accept drop in kits for the Response Trigger, Electric kit, Flatline Barrel System, Double Trigger and Low Pressure kit. All of these kits can be installed with same tools that you use to disassemble the marker. The Tippmann 98 Custom is the most customizable marker you can buy.
FEATURES OF THE TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM
In addition to the normal Model 98 features, the 98 Custom can be upgraded with any of the following:
- Flatline Barrel System
- Reactive Trigger System
- Double Trigger Kit

Just like the Model 98, the Tippmann 98 Custom delivers a solid, reliable performance with no hassles whatsoever. It is without a doubt, one of the most durable markers on the market.
The performance is the same as that of the Model 98, except that it doesn't have that one weakness, upgradeability. If you DO take any of the upgrade options... well, the Tippmann 98 Custom will kick some serious butt. Quite frankly, it's difficult to find any reasons not to buy it....
Conclusion: A really good buy! Not as fancy as some of the other markers, but with all the available "drop in" upgrades, the Model 98 Custom won't lack in performance.
