The Samurai from Brass Eagle is a cheap beginner's paintball gun. Other than that, not a lot can be said for it. In it's day, the Samurai was a good choice for people just starting out in paintball, but for a few dollars more you can now get a far superior paintball gun.
FEATURES OF THE SAMURAI
- CO2 ,Nitrogen or Compressed Air powered
- Vertical feed port
The Samurai does not have any redeeming qualities - other than it's price. It is loud, not very accurate, leaks gas, double feeds paintballs, breaks balls.... the list goes on. I suppose that if you compare the performance with the price, it doesn't do too badly. But for an extra $10 you can get a Compact Spyder 2000, which is a far superior paintball gun!!!
The Samurai is better than the Stingray II, but not by much. It is fairly durable paintball gun... so I guess you could buy it for a young child... but I don't recommend it!
Conclusion: Get the Compact Spyder 2000 instead.... it's as simple as that.
